When listening to the song I found it very slow and mellow possibly almost sad.
When listening to the lyrics it’s obviously about someone she cares about and seems to have been with a long time. Going by the lyrics the song seems to be based on how everyone changes through life and that we all end up going our different ways whether it is because of work or other reasons. She’s also trying to say by the sounds of it don’t forget the good times and can we one day go back to them.
Does it sound similar to anything else I have ever heard? No personally I find it a bit to heavy on the heart and isn’t my cup of tea lyric wise I would say you maybe able to relate the way she thinks probably to pink in her time of reflection. It seems that Jazz Morley is of course different in her music but she was obviously very upset alone and possibly a bit depressed. The genre I would possibly relate to more of a mellow indie/emo type of genre.
